A Reflective Look Back...
I've been thinking about 2005 and while there have been a share of good things which have happened I have to admit I will be glad to see the backend of it in a few days. First my best friend, Sylvia's parents both went through horrible health problems. I wouldn't wish these problems upon my most hated enemy. Then both my parents went through health problems, then Emmett's dad and then myself. Yeesh, what a year. Then mixed into the equation I had to deal with people (who I thought were friends) who turned out to be really odd. I didn't rock the boat with them. I normally do not lay down in submission but believe me it wasn't worth the hassle. Sometimes in life the less headaches you have the better. I have more important issues/things/people in my life. I also rather drop it and move forward. I knew with these people I wouldn't be allowed that.
I am anxiously awaiting 2006 and what lies ahead. A time of regeneration, new beginnings, new paths, wonderful healing, new adventures, new Who tours, reconnecting with Who people, and new, wonderful memories to create.
While I do thank 2005 for giving me the memories of my son's 1st birthday, his first steps, his first teeth etc... I, at the same time will gladly hold open the door and kick the butt of 2005 out as quickly as it came in.
With that said, I hope all of you have a very Happy New Year and I shall raise a glass and toast with you to the new as the clock rings midnight.

Very good post indeed! I am glad you are ready to move into the next year! I am too as well as many I know. Seems like 2005 was a year to put past us all or so it seems!
Your son's second birthday will bring on more enjoyment of him guaranteed and I am sure you will count the days that he will start using more vocab! I love how my daughter chants my name everywhere and it makes me feel so needed it is wonderful! Kids are just the best!!
Thank you for your friendship! Heres to 2006 and getting to know you better :)

Happy New Year Ann! Best wishes to you and yours.
Hey I didn't know you had a blog!
Hi Ann,
Happy and Healthy New Year to you
and your family!! Here's to a bright and happy 2006!
Molly:
I wish you all the best in 2006 too dear girl. You're so right, kids are the BEST. My son has been a wonderful source of positive energy and strength for me these past couple of months. The best sound for me right now is hearing - "mommy". I just love it! :-) I agree with you. It seems as though other people found 2005 to be a tough year. Maybe the planets were out of alignment or some bad karmic energy was happening.
Talk soon and here's to 2006!!
Ann xo
Amanda:
Thanks for posting a comment on my blog! :-) It's always great to meet new Who fans.
With everything that has happened in 2005 I'm certainly a changed person. I've had a chance to re-evaluate my life and my interactions. I'm a different person and decided to wipe the slate clean of negative people. People like that are not healthy to have around.
So here's to new healthy friendships and happy times. All the best to you in 2006!!
Ann
Jim,

Mike,
What can I say? I can't thank you enough for your friendship. If there's anything good about 2005 is the fact we reconnected again.
