This photo of the gorgeous Simon Townshend and myself was taken in August 2002 in Chicago (Tinley Park) after the Who concert. One of the best experiences and concerts of my life. I also met Rabbit Bundrick and caught a glimpse of the very tall Pino as he floated in and out of the meet and greet area. I'll post the pic of Rab and myself another night as well as one I have with Zak Starkey. All very, very nice and charming guys.

Cool pic. I never gotten the chance to meet Simon yet. Know Zak pretty well, great guy. Look forward to checking out more pics.

Thanks for posting a comment on my blog. :-)
Zak's a wonderful guy, as you already know. I met him in Toronto after a Johnny Marr and the Healers gig. Actually Johnny Marr was just as fantastic in person. I just have to dig out my Kodak CD disc with the pics on them and get them on my blog. It took me a half hour to find the CD with the picture of Simon and myself. Can you tell I'm organized?? Not!

My wife and I were at that concert. It was a great show. I bought the CD of the show to remember it everytime I listen.

Where were your seats for the Tinley Park show? I was in the 13th row on the left. Not the greatest but was still able to see quite a bit. Were you and your wife at the pre concert gathering?

We were center stage at the very front of the lawn seats. The sound was awesome but Pete and the rest of the band looked tiny. But there was nothing tiny about their sound. Incredible as always. If they go to Chicago in 06 we'll spare no expense to get better seats.
I also need to figure out a way to get into the pre-concert gathering. I'm sure it's incredible.
